About Luke

Luke is a tea-drinking, born and bread Yorkshireman who started his singing career at 16. After learning his craft throughout the Yorkshire working men’s clubs, he has gone from working on the east coast of Yorkshire to London’s West End. Highlights have been working with Stiles & Drewe to re-record and rework songs from their 2000 Olivier Award-winning music Honk, playing ‘Phantom’ in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s famous musical, The Phantom of the Opera and performing with Dolly Parton in Dollywood, Tennessee.   In the latter part of 2015, Luke decided that he would travel the globe and focus on a career within the luxury world of cruise liners. Here he worked his way from being a Singer to Cruise Director including working pre-launch in the shipyards.   After a brief spell back home during Covid, in 2022 Luke returned to the Entertainment Industry, recharged and full of Yorkshire Tea. He now leads the onboard  Entertainment/Enrichment hosts for Explora Journeys, helping them deliver once-in-a-lifetime experiences and journeys in a new era of ultra-luxury travel.
